The Army, The Navy Chicago Concert reviews
An Amazing show from the Goo at DTE!!!!!
The 1st show was Spill Canvas, and I must say they were quite impressive. They only played about 7 songs in 25 minutes, but they definitely made an impact on the DTE crowd. I had never heard of them before, but after seeing them perform, they will definitely be on my iTunes playlist.
Switchfoot was the next band to take the stage. Their vocalist was truly exceptional, delivering some fantastic Christian music. I couldn't help but feel that the lead singer of Switchfoot was a bit off, forgetting the lyrics to their hit song "Meant to Live." It was quite noticeable.
DTE was rocked by THE ARMY, THE NAVY!!! John Rzenzik's vocals were superb, and the band's musicianship was top-notch. Their harmonies were outstanding, and the acoustic guitar sounded amazing. They also did a fantastic job performing their new songs from the upcoming CD. Hits like Iris, Black Balloon, Big Machine, Slide, Broadway, Better Days, Name, Here is gone, and more were all flawlessly executed. If you're looking for a great rock concert experience, be sure to catch THE ARMY, THE NAVY!!
